Eve is our PBGV, our one and only representative
from the hound group. We saw her sire on television moving around the group ring at Westminster and thought that this might be a breed that would be fun to show and breed. We did show her and finished her Championship (not always easy finding shows with other PBGVs entered). I will never understand how other people managed to keep their PBGV's nose off the ground long enough to move them around the ring! She was bred once and had 2 sons who come to visit from time to time.
Eve has fit in well with the rest of the family. She loves the company of the other dogs and tells the Berners off if they get too pushy and step on her. She also loves the cats and competes with Marshmallow for lap time.
Eve is our oldest dog at this point, turning 12 on Feb.19, 2008. She has been a funny, cute, sometimes frustrating dog but we love her and give her the special treatment she deserves as the senior dog in the house.
